This month saw additional restructuring from Goop, which has resulted in three rounds of layoffs since the summer. The brand saw another round this month in an attempt to slim down the organization to satisfy the board and position itself for an exit.Nicola Kilner, the co-founder and CEO of Deciem, will be stepping back from the brand she founded 11 years ago—five months after The Estée Lauder Companies finally completed its acquisition of the company for $1.7 billion. Starting in January, Kilner will be shifting into an advisory capacity—she’ll work on people and culture, bigger-picture initiatives, and strategy. Jesper Rasmussen steps in as Global Brand President.Monica Arnaudo, Ulta Beauty’s Chief Merchandising Officer, will retire in the spring of 2025. The beauty retailer is yet to name her successor. Arnaudo joined the retailer in October 2017 as Senior Vice President, Merchandising, before stepping into the Chief Merchandising Officer role in 2019.Kenvue appointed Andrew Stanleick as President of Skin Health and Beauty in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The former longtime Coty executive was most recently Chief Executive Officer of publicly listed BeautyHealth. Sue Fox, President of Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland, will retire. After a 30-year career across various roles at the company in various roles, Fox will step down on June 30, 2025. Pernilla Nyberg will replace her in the role. Nyberg previously held a leadership role in the UK & Ireland region from 2012 to 2016, working closely with the Regional President as Vice President, Regional CFO, and Strategy Leader.
